Development of the company over the years

Company PROFILINK Ltd is founded in 2004 in the town of Plovdiv. It is specialized in production of PVC profiles for doors and windows. Profilink window systems are based on the modern technologies of the leading European companies in the branch. Profilink systems have extraordinary aesthetic, functional, safety, and quality properties.

The company is provided with the best toolings and downstream equipment for profile extrusion from Greiner Extrusions-technik and Cincinnati Extrusion, Austria. Its staff is highly qualified, trained by Austrian experts.

In the beginning of 2006 the company has been successfully audited and

certified by the international DIN EN ISO 9001 - 2000 standard. The guarantee of the certifying organization TUV NORD CERT that the requirements of the international standard are fulfilled reveals responsibility before the customer as well as striving to quality in every aspect.

Initially the company Profilink started to work with full sets of just three extruders and three PVC systems for windows and doors, complying with the geographic location of the country and its climatic conditions.

As a result of expanding the main activity and due to the increased demand of products of the Profilink brand, at the beginning of 2008 Profilink acquired new bigger production facilities with total area of 120 000 sq.m. The company owns a modern administrative building with up-to-date equipped offices, meeting and conference halls. The guests and clients of the company are welcomed by polite front office managers who consult and direct them. There are conditions for the staff to eat in the company’s own foremost catering facilities. There are excellent conditions for work and recreation of employees and workers. The company has developed an automated access regime for people and vehicles.



In 2008 a modern test laboratory for measuring and control of the parameters of the used materials and the finished product was furnished with a funding under the PHARE programme “Enhancement of the competitiveness of the Bulgarian companies”. The artificial fatigue resistance, the colour of the solid and powder substances and the admissible variation of the standard colour, the thermal contraction of the profiles, the heat effect on the profiles, the purability and the apparent density, the impact strength and the resistance, as well as the strength of the welded angles are being determined.

At present Profilink Ltd has 12 extruder lines for production of PVC profiles for windows and doors of new generation. This is necessitated by the increase of production volume and the ambition to ensure the necessary nomenclature of profiles included in the systems offered by Profilink Ltd.

Customer for us is of an extraordinary importance. For that reason we are constantly aiming at creating new products responding to the client's preferences.

After the two systems "Profilink Classic", "Profilink Lux" and "Profilink Ultra" have gained ground on the market. We decided to work out a new system - "Profilink Premium" with a 70 mm constructional width, meeting the need of the specific Bulgarian market. The systems for doors and windows of Profilink have smooth surface, they are easily maintained and have elegant design. With PVC window systems of Profilink you have a variety of possibilities regarding the design of the buildings.

PVC systems of Profilink respond completely to the modern tendency of energy efficiency for decreasing the use of energy. Profilink PVC systems have excellent insulation properties as follows: Coefficient of heat resistance:

U=(0.86-1.49)W/m2K ; Coefficient of noise insulation: Rw <= 31dB.
